WHAM Call For Artists

NEW juried show at WHAM art Gallery for August 2021 is Visions in Poetry. Entries of artwork shall depict a poem. The challenge is to create artwork that fits a particular poem or a line from a poem. Deadline to enter is July 11, 2021. Visit Wham website for details for Call to artists.

Things to know about gallery shows.  An open “Call to Artists” is a call for artists to enter their artwork in an upcoming show or exhibit.  In general, these shows are juried by professional artists who are hired by the gallery.  The juror or jurors will decide which pieces are accepted into the show.  Before you enter the show, be sure to read the “prospectus.”  This is where you will find detailed information about that show.   If the show has a particular theme, be sure that your artwork fits that theme or subject matter called for the theme.

If you have ever thought about entering a gallery show stop by and talk to Diane Freeman or contact her at for information about gallery rental.
